Alix Earle, Sacheu Beauty, and Fixated creator management make financing moves
Good morning. Today, Preston “PrestonGoes” Summerrow concludes his trilogy, I Built a Mini Truck for Abandoned Railroads. It may be a bittersweet ending for viewers as hooked as we are, but after gaining more than 100K subscribers and almost 4 million views over the course of the first two installments, we’re sure Preston is all aboard on doing something this ambitious again.

Creator Investment Moves: Alix Earle, Sacheu, Fixated Talent

Are creator-led businesses the “Uber for [insert industry here]” of 2025? Recent headlines suggest they might be.
After Slow Ventures launched a $60 million fund to invest in creator businesses last month, the venture capital industry has continued to flock to the creator space, eager to invest in both talent and the companies helping that talent scale.
Here’s a roundup of recent top creator investment moves:
Creator management company Fixated, which reps creators like Zach Justice and Sketch, secured a $10 million investment from private equity firm Eldridge Industries (Eldridge CEO Todd Boehly has also invested in A24 and the Los Angeles Dodgers).
Fixated cofounder Zach Katz served as president of FaZe Clan from 2022 to 2023.
Details on how Fixated will use the funding from Eldridge are sparse, but the company wants to help content creators build businesses.
Alix Earle joined a $3 million funding round as a strategic investor in SipMARGS, a canned cocktail brand. Earle has been hinting at this announcement since late February, and she’ll serve as the face of the brand’s relaunch. Aware of the oversaturation of celebrity and creator alcohol brands, Earle told Forbes she plans to take an active role in SipMARGS’ creative direction.
Gloss Ventures, which owns the Sacheu beauty brand started by creator Sarah Cheung and made viral by Billie Eilish in a makeup tutorial, raised $15 million in a Series A funding round earlier this year. Now, Gloss Ventures is projected to hit $100 million in sales in the next two years.

Sidemen Set Date for Netflix Reality Show

Sidemen’s second season of their reality show releases Monday exclusively on Netflix / Netflix
Inside, Sidemen’s reality show featuring creators living together and competing for a chance to win 1 million pounds (~$1.2M), is set to premiere its second season exclusively on Netflix UK on Monday.
Quick recap: Inside’s first season was a big hit, earning over 38 million views in one week on the Sidemen’s YouTube channels when it debuted last June.
A few months later, the Sidemen signed a Netflix deal to executive produce both UK and US versions of the show, with the latter expected to release later this year.
The stakes: Like last season, 10 creators will compete over seven days, with the last one standing taking home the cash prize. The UK season two cast features creators like gaming streamers Cinna and FaZe Jason, plus Love Island alum Whitney Adebayo.
Big picture: The pipeline for creators to go from YouTube → Netflix is getting stronger. Inside will be the second original title the Sidemen have released on Netflix, following a documentary release last year. Another example? Glitch’s The Amazing Digital Circus is releasing episodes on Netflix and YouTube at the same time.
