[SXSW Recap] How Creators Are Leveling Up Their Storytelling With AI

Made possible by our friends at LTX Studio

The sun was out and the energy was buzzing at Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden in Austin on Saturday, March 8. In partnership with LTX Studio, we brought together voices from across the creator industry for a morning filled with conversation and inspiration during our Coffee With Creators event at SXSW.

Over 100 creators and operators came together, eager to connect, share insights, and tackle big ideas. This time, the theme focused specifically on the evolution of human creativity in the age of AI.

Views on Creativity From Different Ends of the Spectrum

Moderated by our own Hannah Doyle, the event featured a lively panel that included:

  • Issac Carlton, a YouTuber with nearly 200,000 subscribers. He’s grown his channel in the last year by creating content under unusual constraints (like filming an entire video with a kid’s camera).

  • Isaiah Photo, a veteran creator with over 10-million subs. He has over a decade of experience building an audience through challenge content.

  • Ido Cohen, Vice President of Global Brand and Communications at Lightricks. He offered insights on how creators can incorporate AI through tools like LTX studio.

The panel inspired a dynamic discussion and left creators with plenty of inspiration.

1. Creativity Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All

Issac described a meticulous storyboarding process. He sketches out a step-by-step plan before filming even begins.

Isaiah shared a different, but equally effective approach. He starts with a loose concept then lets reality take its course during shoots.

LTX Studio is designed with this spectrum of creativity in mind. It’s built to help structured creators like Issac refine their vision, while also giving spontaneous creators like Isaiah ways to capture their ideas.

2. AI Is An Ally, Not Replacement

The panelists stressed that using AI doesn't need to mean sacrificing authenticity. Tools like LTX Studio can complement, even enhance creativity without overpowering a creator’s voice.

They also emphasized that you’re more likely to be replaced by someone using AI than by AI itself. With or without these tools, human connection remains the main driver of creativity.

3. Coffee, Collaboration, and Creative Connections

Before the panel started, attendees gathered into small groups. They discussed creative challenges and even opened up about other creators they envy.

Attendees exchanged IG handles, shared tips, and most importantly, found potential collaborators. Despite the growing impact of AI, it’s clear that human collaboration will continue to be essential to creativity.

Unlocking Creativity With LTX Studio

As a full-scale storyboarding and content development platform, LTX Studio is much more than a one-click AI video generator. It enables an iterative workflow that creators can refine and experiment with (minus the need for bigger teams or more expensive tools).

Whether you’re a veteran creator or simply starting out, you can leverage the potential of AI with LTX Studio while continuing to maintain your voice.

“The creators that win in the long run will be the ones that embrace, rather than compete, with AI as partners in the creative process,” Cohen said.
